The problem
Food expires in the back of the fridge and gets bought twice. Households lose money simply because nothing tells them what they already own.
What was built
Fresh Pantry was built by Nexren founder Almuthanna Shihab, separately from Nexren: the iOS application and its landing site, with pantry tracking by location and category, expiration dates and status filtering, and a built-in shopping list.
Where it stands
Available on the App Store.
